How to Center on God and Find Your True Potential

Cherie Trent, one of the Prayer Priority team and Lead Intercessors from Catch The Fire Church in Auckland, NZ, shares a word from God that we hope will wash and refresh us as we become more and more like Jesus.

You are created to have more of God and find your potential in knowing Him.

I dreamed of a house with a Waterfall of washing and refreshing and a Deep Underground Spring whose water would go into your cells - soaking through and transforming your DNA. I woke up with that sensation in my body.

I believe the Waterfall speaks to a washing and refreshing in the Lord and the Underground Pool to the transformation in the more of God. Is God is asking us now to enter into the More with Him in the secret place?

There’s a call to center on God.

Ps 131.2 Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul,

Like a weaned child with his mother;

Like a weaned child is my soul within me.

Ps 42 7-8 Deep calls to deep

in the roar of your waterfalls;

all your waves and breakers

have swept over me.

By day the LORD directs his love,

at night his song is with me—

a prayer to the God of my life.

In the midst of whatever storm you are seeing - we can know that, ultimately, God will give the nations to Jesus Christ His Son.

Ps 2.8

Ask of Me, and I will give You

The nations for Your inheritance,

And the ends of the earth for Your possession.

Let us remember to lean in to know the things of God by the Spirit of God.

Romans 11.33 Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgements and how inscrutable His ways!

Romans 11.34 For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been His counsellor?

1 Cor 2 We know and comprehend the heart and thoughts of God, by the Spirit of God.
