The Global Priorities & Initiatives exist to train, equip and raise the standard across our movement.
Why Priorities & Initiatives?
Our Priorities
Based on Acts 13 verses 1 – 3
Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabus, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen (who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul. While they were worshipping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Set apart for me Barnabus and Saul for the work to which I have called them.’ So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.
Worship - We start by prioritising worshipping the Lord and ministering to Him first.
Prophetic - In that context we hear prophetically from the Holy Spirit.
Prayer - That leads us into preparation in prayer and fasting.
Evangelism - All unto the purpose of going out on mission to share the gospel and church plant.
These are our priorities as a movement in that we want each believer in every Catch The Fire church to be worshipping, hearing from God prophetically, praying and evangelising. These are our core activities as believers, all starting in putting God first and worshipping him.
Our Initiatives
The Global Initiatives that we are currently establishing have arisen from an expressed need within the movement.
Where the Priorities are for every believer to engage in, the Initiatives tend to represent a specialism or a special focus group that we would not necessarily expect every believer to engage in.
The Initiatives may be added to for a temporary focus initiative or for more ongoing initiatives.

Worship Priority
The global worship priority exists to develop worshippers throughout the movement, building a sense of family and worship community.
We want to be people that worship with a focus on His presence - to worship like He’s in the room and be able to react to His leading.
We want to be people that are committed to grow at their craft: leadership, musicianship, songwriting etc.

Prophetic Priority
The global prophetic priority exists to develop prophets and prophetic voices within our movement. We want to encourage and train the gift of prophecy within our churches and gather prophets, stewarding revelation for the movement.
We value: prophesying from a place of intimacy with Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit, releasing the presence of God as we prophesy, Heart healing and character, training sharpness in skill and being founded on the Bible.

Prayer Priority
The global prayer priority exists to cover the sphere leaders in intercession and raise up specialist intercessors for spiritual warfare. Also to raise the standard for ‘generalist’ prayer and encourage prayer in all our churches
We want to always start in a place of intimacy with Jesus and prophetically follow his lead in praying. We want to always be bible based in our approach.

The global Kids Initiative is here to help encourage, resource, and support Catch The Fire Partners pastors and kids leaders as they raise up sons and daughters to: Encounter Father’s presence, Pursue Jesus, Be Spirit-led Kids, Have strong Bible foundations, Carry kingdom transformation everywhere they go.

The global Theology Initiative exists to stimulate theological thinking for Catch The Fire Partners pastors and leaders by hosting debates on what the Bible says about key topics that impact our churches. We aim to present a flowing discussion of historical and present theological issues in a fun-centred, loving and respectful forum of theologians.
