To God be the glory! The mission trip to the Philippines last year was an encouraging and life changing experience for the team of twelve Canadians who went and for the people that we ministered to in the province of Laguna and in the city of Manila. We did street evangelism and handed out Tagalog Bibles and the Jesus dvds to the local folks and many received Jesus as their Lord and Saviour after we shared the message of love, forgiveness and salvation. One team member gathered fifty members of his family and all of them accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour! Praise God! We visited a Drug Rehabilitation Centre and ministered to thirty young, male in-house patients. They felt the love of God, sensed the hope ahead of them in the future and received their healing from substance abuse addiction. About 1300 Junior High School students and school teachers, including the school principal, gave their lives to Jesus in the public school that we were invited to visit. We blessed the pastors with food and accommodation that travelled from different areas of the Philippines to attend the mid-week Encounter that we conducted. The team witnessed the power of God moving in the areas of salvation, healing, provision and so much more. Thank you Lord!
