Stuart and Chloe Glassborow, the lead pastors of Catch the Fire London, are also founding directors of The Kenyan Children’s Project. So this year Catch The Fire London has had the privilege of getting behind the charity; seeing God move, restore, transform and heal lives in mighty ways. During 2010, teams travelled out to Kakamega, Kenya in February, June, September, October and December. As a church we are on a mission to see the plight of Fatherlessness reversed across the earth and we have already seen amazing fruit both in London and in Kenya. The teams sent out have joined The Kenyan Children’s Project as they take feeding and medical programs to thousands of vulnerable children; entire villages have been impacted. We have seen countless lives saved through both mercy and miracles. One of the photos shows a tiny 13-month-old boy that had paralysis in his legs, arms and neck. He had never been able to move but God’s Kingdom came and he was totally healed in June 2010. Wow, Jesus is awesome!! The 35 children living in the home retreat centres at the Kenyan Children’s Project needed beds, so Catch The Fire raised the funds for every child to be blessed with a mattress. Prior to coming into the homes, these children would sleep in the dirt, but now thanks to the generosity of Catch the Fire uk every single one of them has a beautiful bed! To God be the glory, great things he has done!
