Catch The Fire – Montreal is located in Pierrefonds, in the West Island of the city of Montreal. Montreal is the second-largest French-speaking city in the world (after Paris), as it is the main metropolis in the province of Quebec – the French part of Canada. While many English-speaking folk make CTF-Montreal their home, the services are in French. A major focus is always placed on experiencing the Father-Heart of God; and a large emphasis of this contemporary church is worship and celebration. CTF-Montreal also has a strong missions’ thrust through the short-term schools that they are involved with in the French-speaking world. Les Ecoles du Fleuve (River Schools) have served to bring the revelation of the Father’s Heart and the values of the River to other parts of the province of Quebec, to France and to French Africa. More than thirty nations list French as an official language, yet barely any “River” ministry is available in the French world. It is time for all that to change! As well as going with the message, CTF-Montreal also receives: their church in Pierrefonds often hosts major conferences that allow international ministries to communicate this essential message of the River to the French-speaking world. CTF-Montreal was founded as an Assemblies of God church in 1985. It officially became a Catch The Fire congregation in February 2010.

Lead Pastors Catch The Fire Montreal

Gerry & Marcia Plunkett are the pastors of Catch The Fire – Montreal. They have three adult children: Matthew, Sarah and Rachelle. Gerry & Marcia have been living the fire of God in their lives, and in the life of their church, since an initial visit to TACF in October of 1994. A professor of Church History for 15 years, one of Gerry’s passions was to study revival movements of previous generations. After having tasted this present renewing move of the Lord, their passion is now to see pastors, church leaders and indeed all believers experience the love of the Father. They have ministered the Father’s love in many parts of Canada and the U.S., as well as overseas in Holland, Germany, France, Australia, South Africa, Togo and Thailand. In January of 2008, a fresh outpouring of the Spirit has ignited the hearts of many of the young adults in the Pierrefonds assembly. The heart cry from Gerry & Marcia remains: More, Lord!
